“Very nice trip! Great food, the hostess was great. Captain was fun. The places we stopped at were beautiful. Lots of space and great seating arrangements. Wine and beer were good. So were the drinks, even though the options were limited to some preset cocktails and the alcohol in them was weak. The barman could be more accommodating.”

“The experience at the Catamar was outstanding and wonderful but the experience once we got to the buffet was horrible , one of the we waiters was so rude to an American guest because he didn’t have any cash to tip . I had to intervene. I give the American guest 3 dollars I felt so bad and the waiter screamed at me telling me that that wasn’t my business.he was also very rude to us so we left. We went to at least 3 places there and the service was horrible . Never coming back to isla mujeres. The catamaran service and atmosphere was amazing.”

Ibiza: Crystal Waters Formentera, Open Bar and Buffet Lunch

6.Crystal Waters Formentera, Open Bar and Buffet Lunch

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 529 reviews · 1 day · from $93

You’ll sail from Ibiza to Formentera, pass Cap de Barbaria, swim near Cala Saona and Illetas, eat a buffet lunch, and enjoy drinks from the open bar. A live Spanish- and English-speaking guide provides commentary, with free time in La Savina before the return boat.

“Had a fabulous day with family - kids 4, 6 and 8 all had a brilliant time. There were several other groups with children which we were pleased about as we were worried it may be a party boat. It’s worth bearing in mind that the Playa d’en Bossa pick up is the second one so the upstairs seating was mostly occupied already when we boarded. It didn’t matter too much as some people disembarked at Formentera and we found a space but the first part of the trip was spent on the covered lower deck. The crew were all friendly and helpful. The boat was clean and comfortable.”

12.Top Isla Mujeres Catamaran Tour with Snorkel Open Bar and Buffet lunch

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 87 reviews · 8 hours (approx.) · from $37

Spend about eight hours sailing from Cancun to Isla Mujeres, with a 20 to 30 minute snorkel at El Meco Reef, open drinks, buffet lunch, an Icebar visit, free island time, and music on the return. Eric and the crew are praised for keeping the day fun, though the boat and schedule can feel crowded.

“For starters our driver was 30 minutes late to pick us up for the excursion and we had to wait outside in the heat. When I messaged the tour operator they didn’t respond and when I called, the phone was disconnected. Not only that, but when the driver came, he didn’t apologize for being late. He also stopped to record videos and even pulled over to the side of the road to get on his phone. Next, once we got to the boat, they let us know that we couldn’t snorkel AFTER the boat was already sailing off. This was a huge inconvenience because snorkeling was a major reason we…”

Spend about eight hours sailing from Cancun to Isla Mujeres with snorkeling, a national open bar, buffet lunch, beach-club access, and roughly 90 minutes of island time. Crew members such as Pancho, Alex, Fernando, and Fabian have earned praise for their energy and care, but weather, delays, crowds, and extra fees matter.

“Small group and awesome hosts. Only about 25 passengers and the captain and four staff. Free flowing tequila. Main host was Pablo, I hope I got his name correct. He was a lot of fun one snorkeling snap where Pablo lettuce to certain spots. Lots of fish, but not very colorful. There is an underwater “statue” with six hands on six concrete pads signifying love and peace to all.. Lunch stop was good. Went to a second stop and got off the boat, which was extremely touristy. Two events were canceled due to the rough weather. One more swimming stop off the boat and swinging on the spinnaker, but it…”
